good breakfastcooked breakfastpleasant chefclean roomdated staircaseold decorlumpy bed
the breakfast offered a good choice well cooked. the chef was very pleasant. the room was very comfortable and clean. the bathroom shower worked well.
the staircase up to the room was dated. it was uncared for and did not give a good first impression. the decor was very old fashioned. the double bed was awful, it was lumpy and unsupportive.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and tasty. The gentleman who served breakfast was pleasant. I had an evening meal one night, steak night. The food was lovely and well worth the money.
One of the rooms booked as a king size was smaller than expected. It felt a bit claustrophobic and hot. Luckily, a fan was in the room. I spoke to the owner who indicated that it was the correct room despite the description.
